Rabbi Yitzchok Yagod serves as both the rabbi and president of Beth Avraham, an OU-affiliated Modern Orthodox synagogue. He is deeply committed to building a welcoming Jewish community grounded in meaningful tefillah and serious Torah learning. Rabbi Yagod delivers shiurim five nights a week and is known for encouraging his congregants to grow spiritually, often reminding them, “You should always leave the shul with more than you came in with.”
Rabbi Yagod brings decades of rabbinic scholarship and leadership, having studied at renowned yeshivot including the Mir, Brisk, and Lakewood, and receiving advanced halachic ordination after years of one-on-one learning with leading Torah authorities. He is the head of EK Kosher, a respected kashrus organization recognized by the cRc, and works with major kosher agencies including the OU, Star-K, OK, and others. In addition to his rabbinic work, Rabbi Yagod holds degrees in computer science and engineering, reflecting a rare blend of Torah scholarship, professional expertise, and communal leadership.
