Stephen Snyder is a longtime member of Beth Avraham and a retired economist with expertise in health care policy and economic history. He joined the synagogue in 2004 and has remained closely connected to the community alongside his wife, even after relocating to Baltimore. Stephen holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland and an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Virginia.
Stephen views Judaism as a lifelong journey of learning and discussion, describing it as “the world’s longest-running seminar.” A dedicated student of Torah, he has been studying Daf Yomi daily for several years and values the opportunity to learn, teach, and apply Jewish wisdom in everyday life.
