Robert (Bob) Trotner is a longtime leader and past president of Beth Avraham who helped guide the synagogue’s revival and growth. After careers with the Social Security Administration and in law, he worked closely with Rabbi Yitzchok Yagod to rebuild a vibrant, welcoming Modern Orthodox community.
Beth Avraham is also Bob’s family legacy—his grandfather, Rabbi Avraham Abba Mowitz, served as the shul’s rabbi after immigrating from Lithuania in the 1920s. Now retired, Bob remains an active member, attending services and shiurim, and enjoys reading and playing chess.
From daily tefillah to holiday celebrations, your generosity keeps our synagogue active and welcoming year-round.
